Solid Carbide Drills
Precision solid carbide drills for steel, stainless steel, titanium alloys and non-ferrous materials. Available in TiSiN-coated or uncoated designs from Ø0.50 to 20.00 mm, including 3×D and 5×D options with external or internal coolant.

Choose the Right Drill Series
Compare general-purpose, 3×D and 5×D solid carbide drill options by diameter range, application and coolant configuration.
General-Purpose Solid Carbide Drills
Fine diameter coverage for general machining and non-ferrous materials, with TiSiN-coated and uncoated options.
European Standard 3×D Drills
Stable drilling for short to medium-depth holes in steel, stainless steel, tool steel and difficult-to-machine alloys.
European Standard 5×D Drills
Extended drilling depth with external or internal coolant options for consistent chip evacuation and production machining.
Quick Selection Guide
| Series | Recommended Use | Diameter Range | Coolant Option |
|---|---|---|---|
| GB-DB | Fine diameters, general machining and non-ferrous materials | Ø0.50–12.00 mm | Standard |
| DIN-OB 3×D | Short to medium-depth, stable production drilling | Ø3.0–20.0 mm | External or Internal |
| DIN-OB 5×D | Deeper holes and improved chip evacuation | Ø3.0–20.0 mm | External or Internal |
Diameter availability: 0.01 mm, 0.05 mm or 0.1 mm increments are available depending on the selected diameter range.
When a standard drill cannot provide the required tool life, hole quality or machining stability, PRONIXT can develop a dedicated solid carbide drill around the actual workpiece material and cutting conditions. Our factory evaluates the material grade and hardness, hole diameter and depth, tolerance requirements, machine rigidity, coolant supply and production target. Based on this information, we select the suitable carbide grade, point and flute geometry, edge preparation, manufacturing process and coating system for the application.
