Precision Torx-style rotary broaches for producing internal six-lobe (star) profiles on Swiss-type lathes and CNC lathes. Our standard T4–T50 range features an Ø8 mm shank, 30 mm overall length and ASP23 powder-metallurgy high-speed steel for precise, repeatable internal profile machining.

Torx (Star) Rotary Broach FAQ
Can these broaches be used on Swiss-type lathes?
Yes. Internal six-lobe rotary broaches can be used on Swiss-type and conventional CNC lathes with a compatible rotary broaching holder, a correctly prepared pilot hole and suitable cutting conditions.
Are non-standard Torx sizes available?
Yes. Custom six-lobe dimensions, cutting lengths and special profiles can be evaluated according to the drawing and machining application.
How should the pilot hole be prepared?
The pilot-hole diameter, depth and lead chamfer must suit the required Torx profile, broaching depth and workpiece material. Final preparation is confirmed during application review.
Which information is most important for a quotation?
The T-size, AF and B dimensions when specified, finished profile tolerance, broaching depth, material, machine setup, quantity and drawing provide the best basis for selection and pricing.
